Remote Ticket Entry Info & Training


The Remote Ticket Entry (RTE) program is offered to professional excavators who would like the convenience of entering and updating their own locate requests (tickets) online at no cost.

About RTE:


  • RTE is a web-based application and users are encouraged to use Google Chrome.


  • RTE provides an alternative to calling and having to wait on hold.


  • New locate requests may be entered, or existing tickets updated, at any time.


  • Users enter their information onto the ticket form and have access to the same mapping that our agents have.

Training Info:


  • View the Training Videos listed below.


  • After watching the videos, download “Training Documents”. In the "User Guide" section of this document, you will find the login information for accessing our Training Portal. Once logged into the Training Portal, feel free to enter and update as many tickets as you wish.


  • If you feel no further training is needed, you will need to create an account to use the Production Portal here. Select “Sign Up” from the top right corner and complete the form. Once your account has been created, disclaimers will be sent to you based on the requested account type.


  • For further training, personalized training classes are available. They are done online and usually take 1.5 hours.
